Youth Savings Accounts and Employment
Mission SF operates the Youth Credit Union Program (YCUP), California's first youth-run
credit union. The YCUP offers high-interest savings accounts for youth up to age 18,
savings incentives and rewards. YCUP also offers unique leadership opportunities, paid
employment and college preparation support to youth, ages 12 to 18. Contact us to open a
youth account or to apply for a youth staff position today.
Youth Peer-to-Peer Financial Training
Through Youth Trainers for Economic Power (YTEP), Mission SF supports a team of community
youth that provides interactive financial workshops to their peers. YTEP workshops cover
topics such as saving, budgeting, needs versus wants, the different types of financial
institutions, and getting involved to improve financial services in our community. Contact
us for more information about YTEP.
